Ice storm warning
Good evening, Central Ohio! Snow showers continue in Southern Ohio while the rest of Central Ohio remains dry and cloudy. The Winter Weather Advisory continues in Pike County until 10:00 PM tonight.
For Perry, Morgan, and Athens counties, the advisory continues until Wednesday morning. While a spotty snow shower cannot be ruled out overnight, dry conditions briefly settle into the region under cloudy skies. Overnight lows dip into the upper 20s and low 30s.
Another low-pressure system climbs into the Midwest by Wednesday afternoon. Some wintry mix is possible before temperatures warm into the upper 30s and low 40s.
The wintry mix lingers in northwest Ohio while the precipitation transitions into rain for the rest of Central Ohio.
Our northern counties like Hardin, Crawford, Wyandot, and Logan are under a Winter Weather Advisory for Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning as ice accumulation up to 0.1-0.2" will be possible.
The precipitation ends early Thursday morning with cloudy skies for the remainder of the day. Temperatures will be colder, with highs in the mid-30s and overnight lows in the teens.
Dry conditions persist into Valentine’s Day with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures remain below average in the low 30s. A significant weather maker arrives by the weekend.
Some wintry mix will be possible as the precipitation arrives early Saturday morning. It will transition into rain for the majority of Saturday as temperatures soar into the low 40s.
