Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover have ended their relationship.
DeSorbo, 32, announced their breakup during a recent episode of her podcast, “Giggly Squad,” co-hosted with Hannah Berner, stating that they have mutually decided to part ways after three years of dating.
“It’s strange, very strange. I didn’t see this coming,” she remarked. “When we first began our relationship, thoughts of the future, such as marriage, were not on my mind. You simply exist in the relationship.”
“Not to sound conventional or outdated, but this isn’t a scenario where I have a lengthy saga of ‘Who was I dating?’” the “Summer House” star humorously noted. “It couldn’t be more different from that.”
“I care for him, and I believe he cares for me as well,” she added. “I think we will continue to be friends. There was no wrongdoing on either side. It wasn’t a negative experience. We both approached this maturely, expressing our desires and boundaries, which I believe is incredibly empowering to articulate one’s feelings and aspirations for the future.”
Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover have ended their relationship.
The stars of Summer House and Southern Charm, who first met during the inaugural season of Bravo's Winter House, were in a relationship for three years before their separation.
It seems that their breakup was a mutual agreement, as DeSorbo mentioned in the latest episode of her Giggly Squad podcast released on Monday, December 30, that she and Conover "have decided to no longer be together."
"It's strange, very strange. I didn't see this coming," she shared with her podcast co-host Hannah Berner. "When we initially started dating, you don't really think about the future—whether marriage is on the horizon or not. You are simply engaged in the relationship."
While DeSorbo did not disclose the reasons behind their breakup, she suggested that there was no animosity involved. "Not to sound conventional or outdated, but this is not a scenario where I have a lengthy list of ‘Who the f--- was I dating?’" the reality star humorously remarked. "It could not be more different from that."
DeSorbo expressed, "I hold immense love and respect for Craig. I believe he is one of the finest individuals I have ever encountered. I will always be his biggest supporter and wish him nothing but the best, which he truly deserves because he is exceptional. However, I believe this decision was the right one for both of us as we move forward in our lives without forcing anything."
"I love him, and I believe he loves me," she added. "I think we will stay friends. There were no wrongdoings. It was not a negative experience. We both approached this maturely, articulating our desires and boundaries, which I find incredibly empowering—being able to express your feelings in real-time and envision your future."
Craig Conover praised his girlfriend Paige DeSorbo's PEOPLE StyleWatch cover, stating, "You fearlessly lead the way." DeSorbo remarked, "He’s undoubtedly the best boyfriend I’ve ever had; I can genuinely say that. He was an excellent partner, always did the right things, and never made me feel insecure."
